Hello! I’m Sylvia Pasmangiu, and I paint for the love of it. Painting has been with me my whole life – it’s how I get feelings, impressions and personalities onto canvas.

I work mostly in acrylic, though I keep reaching for oil as well. I deliberately don’t tie myself to one style: I love how varied art can be, and I like to keep growing.

Closest to my heart are realistic pieces, above all of people and animals, where I put real weight on expression, detail and character.

Got a motif in your head, a photo, an idea? I paint on commission too.

I take commissions gladly, and I work through what you have in mind with patience, care and an eye for detail. What matters to me is that the finished piece carries the character of its subject and means something to you. Acrylic or oil, on canvas, in the size that fits your wall.

How it works
Enquiry → agreeing on motif, format and price → progress updates while it takes shape → handover, signed, dated and sealed with glossing.
Time
A few weeks, depending on size.
